Embark on a journey through the heart of the Inca Empire. Be greeted by picturesque Andean landscapes, and exhilarate your senses with the tastes and smells of regional cuisine.

Day 1: Arrival to Cusco & City Tour

The tour begins the moment you step off the plane in Cusco. Our airport shuttle will pick you up from the airport and take you to your Cusco hotel to drop off your luggage (CHECK-IN 12:00 pm).

Day 1 of the tour begins at 1:00 pm in Cusco, also known as the Imperial City. The tour begins visiting the Koricancha Temple, a preserved Inca palace and worship center in Cusco’s Historic Center.

From there, the tour visits Plaza de Armas (the main square) and the Cathedral Basilica (a historic catholic temple) before heading on to the Sacsayhuamán Fortress (15th century Inca ruins and Q'enqo archeological site).

After the tour, we return to Cusco. Our service will end in the surroundings of the Plaza de Armas.

Day 2: Sacred Valley

We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco. From here, we will take a bus to all of our destinations for the day.

On our way to Pisaq, about 30 minutes from Cusco, we will make our first stop at the market of Ccorao. Here, locals display their crafts to appreciate their art and buy some beautiful handmade souvenirs for you and your loved ones. You will also have the opportunity during this stop to take photographs of the beautiful landscape of mountains, valleys, and even native animals like llamas!

Afterward, we will continue heading to "the Sacred Valley viewpoint". This lookout of the valley will give you a perfect opportunity to photograph the Andes mountain range and the Sacred Valley all together. We will then arrive at Pisaq to visit its main market and archaeological site. Once finished, we will go to Urubamba and enjoy a delicious buffet lunch of traditional Peruvian dishes.

In the afternoon, we will visit Ollantaytambo's town to visit its unique and extensive archaeological site with its royal baths, high terraces, temples, etc.

Surrounded by towering mountain peaks and colorful valleys (plus a view of a faraway glacier) this town is the most well-preserved layout of a typical, Incan-built city with its narrow, cobbled streets and stone walls. Its conservation allows for the enduring legacy of the Incan people to live on for us today!

On our way back to Cusco, we will make a final stop at the town of Chinchero. Here, we will have the opportunity to visit a beautiful colonial temple known for its mural painting above the entranceway (this temple was built on top of Inca foundations). We will also have the opportunity to see the Incan walls in the town's plaza.

Day 3: Machu Picchu

We will pick you up from your hotel at 4:00 am and travel by tourist bus to Ollantaytambo train station, where you will board the 6:40 am train to Aguas Calientes.

The 6:40 am train will arrive at the Aguas Calientes train station at 8:10 am. You will be picked up and taken to the bus station. Once at the bus station, you will take a 20 minute bus ride to the entrance of Machu Picchu.

At Machu Picchu, you will have a two hour guided tour of the ancient city. After you finish exploring Machu Picchu, you will take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes, where you can eat lunch before boarding your return train back to Ollantaytambo in the afternoon. In Ollantaytambo, transportation will be waiting to bring you back to Cusco by approximately 10:00 pm (San Francisco Square).

Day 4: Maras-Moray in ATV

We will start with the pick-up from your hotel in Cusco. Upon reaching Maras, we will enjoy the beautiful view of its crop fields. Then, we will visit the famous Maras salt mines, where we will learn about salt production. Afterward, we will head to Moray, where we will marvel at the incredible view of the ancient Inca terraces. We will learn about the ingenious Inca agriculture and the incredible engineering behind these terraces.

This experience will be guided by a professional tourism guide, who will provide you with detailed information about the history of the places we visit. We will also provide safety equipment for your comfort and protection during the trip.

Day 5: Humantay Lake

We will pick you up between 4:30 and 5:00 am from your accommodation in Cusco. We will then travel by van to the village of Mollepata. Then, we will continue our journey towards Soraypampa, where we will start our trek (4.000m). We will start hiking up a moderate slope for one and a half hours until we reach Humantay Lake (4.300m). From this point, we can soak in the spectacular views of the turquoise waters of Humantay Lake that lays peacefully at the base of the picturesque Humantay Glacier and is one of the most stunning places in the Cusco Region.

We will continue our downhill trek for one and half hours to Soraypampa and have lunch. Finally, after an amazing journey, you will travel for 2 1/2 hours to Cusco. Your arrival time will be approximately 6:00 pm.
